About this artwork
A piece like this that comes from the drop material of other chainsaw pieces was fun to make and Illustrates the creative process of seeing the possibilities in fragments and shards. In this case the coloration, stature and gaze reminded me of a parrot so I title such.

Larry Graeber, an American painter and sculptor, began exhibiting his works in 1971. Since then, he has continued to exhibit throughout the United States. The concept of convergence (the experience of three or more things occurring or arriving at the same time) remains a cornerstone in his perception. Graeber believes that attention to these incidences can ‘open one up to do so much’. He paints using oils on canvas and his sculptures range in materials, with a preference for wood.
