About this artwork
This piece came to me when I was traveling in Jamaica. While hiking along a mountain pass we came across a group of locals who were quite intoxicated. The one person who appeared to have his wits about him was this guy they all called Babba.

Larry Kanter is an American painter who has exhibited in Seattle. His abstract expressionist pieces are created through an intuitive process that involves listening to what is needed within each work and uncovering elements. Kanter uses both oils and acrylics, as well as charcoal, pastel, pen and paper. He dedicates much of his time to background creation techniques and concepts.
