About this artwork
In this work I tried to express the connection between the body and nature. The strong red and yellow tones represent the intensity of emotions, the passion and energy that I felt during the creative process. The black pen strokes that envelop the body are meant to represent both protection and limitation - a symbol of the inner tension that I often carry within me.
The naked torso combined with the dynamic black wings is a reflection of my own… thoughts. It embodies transformation, the desire for freedom and the ability to rise from difficult situations. As I worked on it, I realized how much this depiction represents my own struggle with change and renewal. It is an image that reveals my innermost self - raw, vulnerable and at the same time full of strength.
