About this artwork
My work is created with an intense passion for urban hustle and bustle, capturing the frenetic rhythm of city life through the style of pop art and comics. Using engraving and relief printing on paper, I express an almost abstract movement of the vehicles, imbued with visual dynamism. In me, every brushstroke tells the story of a pulsating metropolis, bringing energy and captivating conversation into any living space.

France
« I represent cities, thick smoke, inimitable noises. The study of eternal contours and the union of all the grey of the world. »
Laura Michelino is a dedicated French painter and printmaker who has exhibited her work in France, Germany and Brazil. She began her artistic endeavors with a focus on engraving, before adding ceramics, and now including paintings. Above all, Michelino embraces inevitability, revelling in the freedom of no set intentions or objectives and surrendering to the natural conclusion of each canvas. Her resulting acrylic on linen and engraving on paper works boast impressive precision, fresh colour combinations and a strong artistic aesthetic.
