About this artwork
The work shows winds caressing the earth while the sun passes its rays between the transparency of its path. "Silk Winds" has the hint of two key words that refer to sensations, this is what the artist wants the viewer to recognize seeing the play. We all experience the sensation of the wind but its representation can be difficult, only represented by the effect it produces, here is an abstract but real representation, and the suggestion of silk… makes it possible to imagine the softness that has been wanted to convey.
Technical specifications: this work is painted on imported canvas, Royal Talens award quality and acrylic: liquitex, golden. Acrilex satin varnish.
« I am an artist by vocation and training but above all by necessity, art gives value to my existence. »
Laura Porcelli is an Argentinian artist who has exhibited her paintings nationally, as well as in Canada, the United States, and Brazil. Her art explores the themes of nature and momentary visual or tactile impressions, including light, wind, the dynamism of nature, and everything relating to movement. Porcelli's abstract compositions are created with the underlining concept of kinetic energy, which is the energy associated with the movement of the body. She creates using acrylics and oils on canvas or glass.
