We are and are not in the same seas.
The waves on the shore have a rhythm that always seems the same, but which changes every moment.
And so we change too. It's a continuous flow of experience, in which past, present, and future intertwine in physical connection with the surface of this beautiful planet that hosts us.
I deeply love nature, and it is often from there that my work is born.
This is where this work was born, the fourth in the Earth's… Heart series, dedicated to the beaches of the world, to ivory and sand tones, to natural light and to that sensation of balance that certain moments manage to leave within us.
Made entirely freehand, with a brush, with colors applied in multiple layers to achieve uniform shades on calibrated geometric shapes, to convey harmony of shape and color.
Unique original hand-painted with sand and acrylic colors on 100% thick cotton canvas. Modernist inspiration, painted by Laura Rota, an Italian artist.

Her compositional sensibility stems from years of studies in Gestalt perception, developed during her career as a graphic designer. In her series of abstract and geometric paintings, 'Circles of Joy,' the circle—a pure and essential form—becomes the center of compositions painted entirely freehand, in flat, uniform layers of color, always featuring the luminosity and contrast of a golden accent.
His research is part of a line that goes from the Bauhaus to Vasarely, from Albers to Rothko, and arises from visual memories linked to nature and from a constant attention to themes of harmony and coexistence between different cultures.
Rota's works are now present in over 30 private collections in more than 10 countries.
