The artist made his painting using an old map from the 70s as a support, applied on a wooden board.
The technical layout, with its lines, curves, points, follows and brings out the human figure, like an inner path made visible by the ethereal lightness of the skin, through the use of a skilful monochrome. The coral applied… symbolizes life, water, passion.
The work is a unique and certified piece, it is finished and ready to hang, it does not require a frame but it is possible to add it.

Laura Serafini is a painter and draftsman based in Italy whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, Bulgaria, and Belgium. She cites art as having given her the opportunity to investigate the human being in all its facets and contradictions. Through her compositins, Serafini seeks a balance between the drawing the human form and the representation of its impulses. Her distinctive figurative pieces often incorporate old maps and nautical charts.
