Laura Stadtegger was again inspired by nature - through the use of many different colors that are only visible or noticeable on closer inspection and the smallest movements of these, which were applied to the canvas with self-made squeegees, she depicts a rock, which seems solid and in motion at the same time.

Laura Stadtegger is a painter and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Austria and in England. Fascinated by myths, archetypes and philosophy, she describes the recurring themes in her art as being messages that affect people all over the world. In Stadtegger's most recent compositions, she often begins her artisitc process by covering her canvases in a thick layer of white oil paint, into which she models her motifs with an almost sculptural manner.
