About this artwork
A381 belongs to the series of "abstract landscapes". What is immediately striking are the material effects of this work. The marble powder mixed with acrylic and applied with a knife in successive layers gives a thick and very matt material.
The border between figuration and abstraction is fine here and the interpretations can differ ad infinitum, from one spectator to another but also from one moment to another, and this is very good because it… is precisely this. that interests the artist.

« I wish that my pictures emerge from emotions. »
Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
