The artist works in energy and concentration but also in letting go (the hand precedes consciousness): in a state of "flow". Over time Laurence explains that she learned to quickly find this optimal state for her at creation.
The painter works with a very wide knife and uses acrylic to which she adds marble powder, which gives a very beautiful matte material. She always starts from a black background then… the layers of color are superimposed while often keeping the trace of the previous layers (repentances), she scratches, erases then covers and so on.. thus Laurence's painting has 2 readings: from afar for an overall view of the work and up close to appreciate the interplay of color overlays.

Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
