About this artwork
The work is developed in superimposed layers, with a very wide knife. Over the overlaps is born a landscape, here marine, which summons the imagination of everyone.
D402 can be associated with D400, D401, D403. The border between figuration and abstraction is tenuous here
Acrylic work and marble powder on Fabriano 400g paper.
The work measures 19cm x 19cm and is framed at your choice:
- mounted under mat, aluminum frame (and protective plexi)… 30cm x 30cmx1cm or choice of black wood (and protective glass) 30cmx30cmx3cm. (see additional visuals)
It is also possible to put glass or plexi behind the painting in order to better appreciate the material effects and to keep the mattness of the work.

« I wish that my pictures emerge from emotions. »
Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
