About this artwork
Marble powder mixed with acrylic and applied with a knife in successive layers gives a thick and very matte material.
The boundary between figuration and abstraction is tenuous here.
Acrylic work and marble powder on Fabriano 400g paper.
The work measures 24cm x 24cm and is framed at your choice:
- mounted under mat, aluminum and plexi frame 40cm x 40cmx1cm or choice of black wood and glass 40cmx40cmx3cm. (see additional visuals)
- under plexi… in extra deep white frame (25cm x 25cm x 4.5cm).
It is also possible to put glass or plexi on the back of the work in order to keep the mattness of the work

« I wish that my pictures emerge from emotions. »
Laurence Moracchini is a French painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in China, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Her abstract figurative style allows for greater freedom in creation. Moracchini paints using acrylics mixed with marble powder, producing a matt texture. Her pieces are developed by overlapping layers, through gestures that are fast, energetic, and intuitive.
