About this artwork
I took great pleasure in painting this creation. I used warm colors, in places, applied in "washes", the flowers being rather suggested, so that we can guess them, so that we can imagine them, so that the spectator can create his "own illusion" for each of them, and yet they are there, in this uneven vase surrounded by light.
I wanted to ignore their shadow, favoring clarity and warm colors.
