About this artwork
When Laurie created this large abstract it was a departure from her more controlled and structural works. She enjoyed moving around the canvas making bold strokes and squiggles in a daring and carefree manner that was quite liberating. She feels this painting represents the blissful freedom of abandoning one's inhibitions to be your wild and true self.
