Between the Snake and the Columbia rivers in Washington State lies a land I hear looks a lot like this, with distant mountains echoing into the sky, verdant, rolling hills, and plenty of room for crops and pasture. I've never been there in person, but it is just the kind of place that abides within me as a place I'd like to go. One day, perhaps I shall.

Lawrence Lee is an established American artist whose works have featured in prizes, exhibitions and permanent collections throughout the United States. An avid reader, he became fascinated by a book about art in high school and never looked back, going on to obtain a degree in Fine Arts and a career as an art teacher. Now an accomplished painter, he composes works that contain first impressions of realism with highly stylized detail, causing each viewer to contemplate, second-guess and closely engage with every vibrant, imaginative painting.
