One wonderful thing about living where the land and sky seem to go on forever is the ability to see storms as they approach and pass by, rather like amorphous sky-beings that feed on the dry desert air. I love the desert.

Lawrence Lee is an established American artist whose works have featured in prizes, exhibitions and permanent collections throughout the United States. An avid reader, he became fascinated by a book about art in high school and never looked back, going on to obtain a degree in Fine Arts and a career as an art teacher. Now an accomplished painter, he composes works that contain first impressions of realism with highly stylized detail, causing each viewer to contemplate, second-guess and closely engage with every vibrant, imaginative painting.
