Australia
Lee J Morgan is an Australian abstract artist based in north-western Sydney whose work explores the emotional relationship between colour, movement and space. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, she creates large-scale abstract paintings defined by intuitive mark-making, layered textures and atmospheric palettes that evoke calm, reflection and emotional depth. Her process balances spontaneity with restraint, producing works that transform interiors through mood and visual rhythm.
After a long creative career, Lee formally entered the contemporary art scene in 2024 with her debut solo exhibition, Ember, in Sydney. The exhibition attracted attention for its immersive scale and tonal complexity, leading to recognition from collectors, designers and the architecture community. She later became the first Australian artist featured by ArchiPro.
Since then, Lee has exhibited nationally through The Other Art Fair Melbourne, Pulse (2025), Minimalist Maximalist and Saturation (2026).
