About this artwork
Alongside my abstracts, I also paint sweet, fairytale-like characters. They are reflections of my inner world as an introvert, my enchanting friends who are always walking with me. When I paint these characters, I break away from all that’s around me, having fun with big blocks of colour and playful details.

Leena Fredriksson is an artist based in Finland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in Luxembourg, Italy, and Spain. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as CIRCLE Art IDEAL, CORRIEREdell’ARTE, etc. Creating in themed series, Fredriksson's works are marked by contrasts. She is particularly inspired by Finnish landscapes, as well as the dialogue between summer and winter.
