Ethiopian painter Leikun Nahusenay's work has most recently been seen in a solo exhibition at the Summerset House in London. Nahusenay uses a mixed media approach which involves mixing acrylics and collage elements on paper or cardboard. Nahusenay explores different themes in her series, the titles of which include "body vs soul" and "prayer." Often involving multiple layers of contrasting geometric patterns, Nahusenay's colorful works give the illusion of reaching into three dimensional space.
