Leila Moosavi is an Iranian painter and textile artist who has exhibited her works in Poland, Malaysia, India and Iran. She explores the concept of giving old life new meaning by using beautiful parts of history and culture. Moosavi feels that it is important to represent the bight and dark sides to make the real world bearable. She combines old and new materials on handmade paper and uses Persian calligraphy to create an expressionistic and emotional composition.
