About this artwork
sixteenth work of the series. As for the work n ° 15, the artist approaches the representation of the unconscious in a violent way. This work represents an evolution compared to previous works as it manifests aggressive gestures. Starting from the left, the work appears as monochrome and as the eye moves the first scratches begin to appear (made with a grinder) which not only affect the kind of "rock" that represents our unconscious but same background… / place where it lives. Compared to the other works in which the manifestation of the unconscious has always been represented in more or less sweet, calm forms, now the same unconscious screams, beats, scratches our soul. as if he wanted to free the most violent and angry we hide from the eyes of the real world. The work, like the other previous ones, is made with aluminum sheets and water-based enamels. The engravings are real.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
