About this artwork
Emotional Crack is part of a series of light sculptures dedicated to the human psyche. in this series I imagined the psyche as a hard, impenetrable parallelepiped. But there is always, in each of us, as in stone, a breaking point through which our emotions flow freely.
The sculpture has a wooden skeleton covered internally and externally by small aluminum rectangles. inside there is a small system of LED lights that illuminate the interior. The… interior features multi-level geometries, through which light reveals space and dimensions. The work has a small box in the back through which you can access the electrical system in order to replace the lights in case of damage.
