this work is the fifth in a series of studies on shadow and light. this is certainly the most complex and articulated work of the whole series. The sculpture is illuminated inside by a LED light that combines any type of color through the use of a remote control (you can therefore create any combination of colors at will). and a white light led bulb. On the back of the sculpture there is a door which, when opened, allows you to change the bulbs in… case of malfunction or breakage. Skyscraper n 5 is made with food tin and is deliberately subjected to an oxidation process that will improve the visual impact over time. The sculpture, having a wooden skeleton, cannot be exhibited outdoors as the wood inside would risk being damaged.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
