About this artwork
This tondo painting is inspired by a poem by a local Victoria poet. It captures the energy of sunrise defeating the dark. The abstract work has hints of realism which adds the the power of light and shadow. It is very textural and vibrant as the artist wanted to really capture the feeling of light and movement.
