About this artwork
The painting was created exclusively with oil paint, on canvas. The artwork represents a mother breastfeeding her baby. The colors of the painting are soft, they are not bright. Ideal for those who don't want to furnish the room with too bright colours. The prevailing shades are pink, green, brown and camel. Mom's scarf is blue and stands out. In creating this work, I wanted to capture the eternal essence of maternal love, surrounded by the serenity… of nature. The use of oil allowed me to delve into the emotional nuances of the colors, playing between the green of hope and the blue of tranquility. Each stroke is a hymn to the sweetness and strength of union, destined to bring an atmosphere of peace and love to every space it inhabits.
Len Vernaghi, originally from Porrentruy but deeply rooted in Italy, is a multidisciplinary person: painter, photographer, designer, textile artist, engraver, sculptor. He stands out for his portable fresco technique, combining traditional pigments with alternative solutions, and uniting contrasting themes and styles. Her works reveal a powerful socio-political commitment, giving voice to frugality, nature, femininity and marginal places, with an atmosphere of wonder derived from her dreamlike subjects.
