About this artwork
This painting is the first work in my series of family portraits that I offer my clients.
When Alina and Asir came to me, they weren't sure what they wanted from the painting. After doing some research, I learned that Alina loves sunsets over endless fields of flowers, while Asir prefers sunrises, especially in the mountains, since his home is in a mountainous region. Their daughter Sofia embodies their two different personalities and brings balance… to family life.
The painting is on canvas in a mixed technique of acrylic pouring and acrylic painting.
Lena Luzius works primarily with acrylic paints, watercolors, neon tapes, foils, and alcohol inks, and has a diverse background spanning art, textiles, and art therapy. Her work moves between symbolism and abstraction, and she enjoys experimenting with a wide variety of materials and techniques, such as acrylic pouring. She creates art that deeply resonates, capturing complex feelings of inner peace, growth, self-realization, and love, thus conveying an impressive emotional depth.
