This painting is a portrait of my son in early puberty. At this stage, the psyche is not yet fully developed. Frequent mood swings and heightened emotionality are typical for this phase. This painting was created with watercolors, neon acrylic paints, and special… strips (neon tape) on canvas.
Small elements formed from neon tape, as well as the neon background, change their color under neon light, especially in the fast color-changing mode.
With this effect, I wanted to convey the feelings that teenagers experience during puberty.
