About this artwork
This artwork is made with plastic foil and is an abstract expression of the surface of water and how light is reflected on it. I used plastic foil because it can be equally shiny and reflective, but also to address to the problem of plastic pollution in the oceans. You might as well see a plastic foil swimming on the surface and not recoginizing it in the first moment and you might see the beautiful sparkling surface of the ocean not knowing what…
really lies beneath.

Lena Snow is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in England, Switzerland, the United States, and Italy.
