About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the intense emotions of seeing and experiencing. Using acrylic, pastel, gouache, and charcoal, I symbolically depicted the flow of perceptions that constantly surround us. The powerful colors and dynamic lines radiate energy that fills any space with vibrancy and depth. It is an expression of inner awareness and flowing emotions, inviting reflection.
Lena Zwetik (born 1991 in Kazakhstan) lives and works in southern Germany. She is a freelance visual artist specializing in painting. In her predominantly abstract-expressive works, influenced by Surrealism and Symbolism, she explores the expression of inner emotional worlds. Color and form serve as her direct means of depicting emotions, perception, and inner processes – detached from external influences. She works with acrylic and watercolor paints on canvas and wood, employing not only classical techniques but also intuitive methods such as painting with a sponge and her hands. Her intense, vibrant works explore themes such as acceptance, love, and freedom, while also addressing motifs like the future, esotericism, and personal as well as collective memory. Since 2021, she has worked as an art instructor, guiding people in discovering their creative expression. Since 2024, she has dedicated herself intensively to building her artistic career.
