About this artwork
Specimen No. 1984 – Personal File
2025, collage, graphite, found paper on blue board
A hybrid fish carries on its back a cut-out Soviet internal passport form—part personal file, part bureaucratic fossil. Inside its body, two tiny men in long coats (classic observers of any surveillance regime) stand as if sealed in an aquarium.
The pink paper “legs” function both as appendages and as filing tabs, the kind used to bind a case into an archive.
The… black circles overhead might be stamps, bullets, or simply the holes left by an office punch.
This is not a fish. This is a citizen who hasn’t yet been entirely processed out of existence.
Short wall-text:
The body has been issued an internal passport.
The inspectors are already inside.
Swimming is forbidden.

« I call my art ideas "Transaction Art". »

Conceptual Artist | Creator of the Transaction Art Universe
My practice interrogates the fragile architectures of identity, memory, and value in a hyper-surveilled world. At its core lies the Transaction Art Universe (2012–Present)—an evolving system where art emerges from bureaucratic seams, digital fractures, and anonymized collective acts.
Key Pillars:
▸ Anonymity as Resistance
3,214+ collaborators surrender authorship under binding NDAs, creating a hive of contested narratives.
▸ The Aesthetics of Failure
Glitches, erased data, and legal voids are not metaphors—they are the medium.
▸ Art as Legal Fiction
Each piece exists as both artifact and contract, challenging ownership’s boundaries.
For Collectors:
Acquiring a Transaction Art work means investing in a living system. Whether a notarized glitch-print, performance relic, or cryptographic document, you become custodian of an ongoing experiment where art and transaction collapse into one.
