About this artwork
This is a portrait of „the one that got away“. It took me over 78 hours to finish, focusing on the smallest details I could remember, like the wisps of greying hair at the right temple or the smallest scar beneath the collarbone. This piece helped me with some form of closure, satisfaction. Truly the closest painting to my heart as of yet.
