About this artwork
In "Red Balloon," my painting captures a poignant moment in the aftermath of war. Amidst the remnants of urban decay, two figures stand, holding onto a single red balloon. Against the backdrop of a stark urban landscape, a solitary tree reaches towards the sky, a symbol of resilience amidst destruction. The sky above, though tinged with the scars of conflict, offers a glimmer of hope. Through this scene, I convey the resilience of the human spirit…
and the enduring capacity for hope, even in the darkest of times.
