About this artwork
This piece was inspired by moroccan tiles.
I wanted to have something that has such wonderful figures as those tiles have, and something very shiny, on a very rough surface. Thus I started to craft gypsum on canvas, shaping it with stensils, and then painting.
After that covering the surface with resin. I think I found, what I had been searching for.
A new technique, that I have not seen any where else so far.
Please enjoy!
