About this artwork
In this work I wanted to describe light as a feeling, not as a visual element.
I worked in successive layers, allowing each layer of color to remain visible, like emotions that are transformed rather than erased. The horizontal areas are born from repeated, patient gestures, creating a slow, almost breathy rhythm, reminiscent of the sea and its constant movement.
Warm tones of pink, coral, and yellow interact with greens, turquoises, and blues,… in a delicate balance between energy and tranquility. The central light emerges gradually, without overpowering, as happens in life when hope returns silently.
Each step was constructed by adding, removing, and allowing what needed to remain visible to emerge. It's a process of waiting, listening, and trusting the process.
In this canvas I have placed the certainty that always accompanies me:
Even when it seems far away, the sun always returns.
