About this artwork
The work is about a journey where a photo was taken, which I converted into a painting with a conceptual basis, in which I designed the alienation of the photo for the painting from the start.
I then painted this design in the studio, transferred it to canvas, painting, using fluorescent fluorescent paint and phosphorescent afterglow paint.
Special features: The painting has 3 levels. In daylight it looks like an ink painting, in black light… it is irradiated with ultraviolet light, it shines like in a stormy night, when the light is off different areas continue to glow in the dark, in orange, light green and light blue.

Lilith Milkyway is an experienced, multi-disciplinary German artist whose works have featured in prizes and exhibitions nationally. Her creative upbringing heavily influenced her future artistic path. From training with her painter father to sewing her own carnival costumes, her childhood was filled with creative purpose. Now an independent artist, she draws influence from 1980s New Wave to compose works that showcase diverse elements with an avant-garde flair.
