About this artwork
She stands at the threshold where reality unravels and dreams begin. Her ethereal, snow-white tresses flow like morning mist, veiling secrets as old as time. With a gaze that pierces through the mundane, she looks directly into the soul, seeking answers to questions yet unasked.
The crown of horns she bears is a bridge to the primal world—a reminder that this spirit belongs neither to our realm nor the next. She is the Restless Spirit, an eternal… wanderer between light and shadow, embodying that fragile moment where absolute stillness meets an unyielding inner quest.
Do you dare to meet her eyes and listen to what the silence is hiding?
I am a Lithuanian artist with more than three decades of experience in visual art, rooted in fresco, bas-relief, and monumental painting. Shaped by European cultural heritage and the old masters, I developed my practice through large-scale commissions for public and private interiors, where I learned to work with structure, surface, atmosphere, and emotional presence. Although I have worked in art for over 30 years, I began focusing on canvas painting only three years ago, which is why my exhibition history in this field is still emerging. In my paintings, I explore the human figure, quiet psychological tension, and the fragile balance between beauty and vulnerability. My wider practice also includes children’s book illustrations, album cover designs, and I was selected to paint for the film The Peasants.
