About this artwork
Esta obra se construye alrededor del símbolo del infinito, una forma en la que el movimiento no tiene principio ni final.
Corrientes de luz forman una figura de ocho dentro de la cual aparecen siluetas humanas. Surgen como reflejos del movimiento dentro de un mismo campo, como múltiples manifestaciones de la conciencia atravesando un único ciclo.
Al observarla con más distancia, la estructura del infinito comienza a recordar una mirada.
La forma… se transforma en ojos, como si la propia realidad observara el movimiento que ocurre dentro de ella.
Las dos partes del símbolo pueden percibirse como dos polos de un mismo principio, similar a la antigua idea del Yin y el Yang, donde los opuestos no existen separados sino como reflejos mutuos.
La obra continúa la reflexión de la serie «Observer and the Observed», donde la observación se transforma gradualmente en reconocimiento mutuo.

Lina Yakobi is a multidisciplinary artist originally from the USSR and based in Marbella, who fuses painting, light, sound, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality in her works. Her technique is based on the Yakobi method.
