About this artwork
The beach is one of my favorite happy places in the world. Upon arriving in Florida I wanted to capture the serene and powerful essence of the shoreline. I used acrylics and real sand blended with organic shells to recreate the natural beauty of the beach and shore. I wanted to evoke the soothing rhythm of ocean waves meeting the shore.
