About this artwork
Drawing on my conclusions about everyday life in these contemporary times, I found many deliciously colored shapes interrupted by spontaneously made lines. Deep violets and maroons create the depth of overlying light turquoise and shades of white with tiny orange highlights.

« Abstract artists are driven to express what they feel and interpret what they see and feel into a cohesive and emotive painting. »
Linnea Leeming is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions nationally. The central themes inherent in her abstract works are experimentation, innovation, and evolution. Leeming's artistic process is driven by the practice of listening to her unconscious in addition to calculated decisions fueled by issues of color and space, where lines, patterns, and textures overlap and merge into unified compositions.
