About this artwork
Isolated against a deep black background, the flower stands alone, vulnerable and yet intact.
Through it, I seek to translate that moment when the fragility of life is revealed in all its power. The petals, marked by my gestures and the ruptures in the material, become the trace of this dialogue between control and letting go, between what resists and what yields.
In the structure of the stem, in the intensity of the contrasts, I explore this intimate… tension where delicacy becomes a form of resistance. This work speaks of my respect and fascination for imperfect beauty, the kind that persists despite its flaws and finds its strength in vulnerability.
