About this artwork
In creating "The Kiss," with its rounded form and fusion of two intertwined bodies, I instinctively symbolized Yin and Yang, but also the complementarity of our conscious and unconscious minds. This osmosis represents the vital balance so often sought after, the kind we sometimes glimpse in relationships, whether romantic, friendly, or familial. This sculpture is a message of Peace. Peace within oneself. Peace in the world.
