About this artwork
Intreccio is the Italian word for intertwined. This highly textural and layered piece has a cool green background and lots of movement created by organic shapes of blue, deep indigo and bright salmon. It is on gallery-wrapped canvas. The sides are finished with a dark paint to compliment the painting, and it can be displayed with or without a frame.

Lisa McLaughlin is a painter and photographer based in the United States whose works have been widely exhibited nationally. Having worked all over the world with touring musicians for the past thirty years has given her the opportunity to explore many cities and museums, which have inspired her art. In addition, McLaughlin's abstract expressionist compositions are influenced by texture and worn architecture.
