About this artwork
I painted this based an a perfect day at the beach with my family. The light, the waves, the sea air, the smiles, discovering new things and just being in nature. Growing up, going to the beach with my family are some of my favorite memories. Getting out into nature is always a welcome escape from the day to day stresses of life. Get outside and feel freedom, beauty and serenity. Enjoy time with loved ones making new memories.
I want to capture and… remember these precious moments and that is why I am sharing my art with you today. Make time to go outside with your loved ones and make memories.
This painting had so many fun and challenging parts. Rocks, water, reflections, shadows, backlighting and colors I don't ever remember mixing before. The location is Leo Carrillo Sate Beach in Malibu, California, USA.
