"Unthought Known" explores the emotions that exist before we can find the words to describe them. Inspired by Pearl Jam's song of the same name, the painting reflects the tension between instinct and understanding—those quiet truths we carry beneath the surface, long before they become conscious thoughts.
Layers of bold colour, fractured forms, and expressive brushstrokes create a visual landscape where memory, emotion, and intuition collide. There… is no single story to find here; instead, the work invites each viewer to discover their own "unthought known"—a feeling, memory, or truth that has always been there, waiting to be recognised.
Some things are understood long before. Can be mounted and and placed in a floating frame on request.
