About this artwork
Walking in the Forest was inspired by that special feeling of being surrounded by trees—where the air shifts, time softens, and every step feels like a quiet conversation with nature. I wasn’t trying to capture a literal forest, but rather the emotion of being in one.
The bold blue tree trunks came from my intuition—they represent strength, calm, and quiet presence. I used palette knives to build texture and rhythm in the foliage, letting vibrant… color lead the way. The canopy almost dances, echoing how alive the forest felt in my memory.
This piece is about wonder, grounding, and joy. It’s my way of honoring how nature can stir us, calm us, and invite us to see the world—and ourselves—differently.
Lisett Llorens is a primarily self-taught artist whose life across different countries and continents has deeply influenced her artistic vision. Specializing in acrylics, she expertly uses palette knives and layering techniques to create textured, vibrant compositions that explore both the emotional and natural world. Her style merges contemporary impressionism with abstract pointillism, capturing moments of stillness, transformation, and light. Through rich surfaces and radiant color, her work invites viewers into contemplative landscapes inspired by memory, travel, and the quiet strength of nature.
