About this artwork
In this oil painting, I've embraced a vintage aura with a touch of impressionism to capture a moment frozen in time. The figure's delicate grasp on the nostalgic nutcracker evokes a sense of cherished memories, innocence, and the enduring magic of childhood stories. Every brushstroke carries warmth and the soft glow of yesteryear, intended to infuse your space with a cozy, enchanting atmosphere.

« In my works, I try to portray not a human face or body, but a soul. »
Liubou Sas is a prize-winning artist based in Belarus whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her disctinctive landscapes ,abstractions and portraits are created in a particular style which is influenced by both expressionism and impressionism. What interests Sas most in her artistic process is the "person as an image" and the translation of their spirit onto canvas. She most often creates using acrylics and oils.
