The brahmavihāras are a series of four Buddhist virtues and the meditation practices made to cultivate them. The Brahma-viharas are - Loving-kindness or benevolence, Compassion, Empathetic joy, and Equanimity.
The crystal energies… used in this piece were Rainbow Fluorite. Fluorite balances bodily energies and promotes inner harmony and equilibrium. It is a highly protective and stabilizing stone, useful for grounding and harmonizing spiritual energy. Equanimity: mental or emotional balance.

Liz McDonough is a painter and photographer based in Malta whose works have been exhibited in Mauritius, the United Kingdom, and Gibraltar. Fascinated by intangible and untranslatable feelings, she is also inspired by nature's colors and patterns. McDonough's abstract compositions translate the contrasts of depth, texture and luminosity. She emphasizes texture with colour and iridescence through underpainting and layering using dry brush techniques with acrylics on canvas.
