Flower Shop series
A classic still life. Not so still.
This recent piece from my Flower Shop collection plays with tradition while adding tension. At first glance, it looks like a classical floral arrangement — but its scale, composition, and surreal details shift the mood.
The oversized water drops, almost sweating from the petals, echo the intensity of Dubai’s heat. The dark background hints at nightlife — at mystery and contrast.… A large fly perched on a ripe apple reminds us that beauty comes in many forms, often coexisting in unexpected ways.
Everything here is precise, yet slightly off. Familiar, yet disturbing. This painting invites the viewer to stay a little longer — to look twice.
