This new collection arises from a long spiritual process where the connection with the divine and detachment from the material has led me to reformulate my way of looking at the world, giving value to each of the simple things in life that God has given to us. Lizander Jimenez is a painter and sculptor based in the Domican Republic whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States. Through his art, he explores the relationship between humans, nature and the spiritual, as part of a whole. Jimenez's painterly compositions are created using traditional oil techniques, placing importance on "the purity of color".
