About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant and dreamy essence of a city at dusk, using warm tones that convey calm and nostalgia. The loose brushstrokes and impressionist style seek to evoke the dancing light and the history latent in every corner. My intention is for anyone who views it to feel the energy and mystery of a place that invites dreaming and discovery.

Lola Saavedra is a painter who graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1987. She uses experimental techniques and highly variable styles, from allegory to spontaneous expression, exploring life symbolically and drawing inspiration from music, movement, and landscapes. Her works radiate freedom, spiritual beauty, a deep connection with nature, and a vibrant energy capable of moving and connecting with those who view them.
He has created various murals for Galician public centers and urban art projects such as Ruartefest (A Coruña, 2019) and Meninas de Canido (Ferrol, 2017).
His work is in the collection of the Xunta de Galicia, as well as in various private collections in Spain, Italy, and Morocco.
